Tarte Glamazon Pure Performance Lipstick in Wild: Review + Swatch!

I'm finally back after a brief break for the holiday and it's so nice to be blogging again! I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday and that you all have amazing plans for New Years! For my hubby and I, we're just happy that he has the day off so we aren't planning too much as far as New Years goes. It's a weekday so we're not really sure what events are even going on that day anyway! But onto what this post is really about: Tarte's Glamazon Pure Performance Lipstick in Wild. I've loved Tarte as a brand for a long time now and some of their products have quickly made my HG (holy grail) list. They recently released a new line of lipsticks called Glamazon Pure Performance Lipsticks and I've been eager to try them since I first heard about how great they were! I picked up two shades, Wild and Whimsy (review to come on that one) and I couldn't be happier with my picks!

Tarte's Glamazon lipsticks come in really unique packaging. The entire thing is housed in a wooden tube and the color is reflected in the design printed on the top half of the lipstick. I love the packaging because it really reflects the brand's all-natural persona. These would look great on any vanity if you ask me!

Wild was a shade I first saw on EssieButton's blog and I just had to have it! It's a stunning shade of red and lately I've been on a red lipstick kick and it doesn't seem to be subsiding anytime soon! It is a cool toned red that glides on like a dream and doesn't tug or pull at all. I absolutely love the formula of these lipsticks and I think they're quickly becoming a favorite of mine! I can't wait to pick up more shades soon!

This lipstick dries to a satin, almost matte finish and is extremely flattering on the lips. This lasted all day on me, even through eating and drinking. I highly recommend checking out these lipsticks and in particular this shade if you're looking for a universally flattering red lipstick!
