Today's blog post features a more recent addition to my blush collection, the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Tipsy. Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes are my all-time favorite blushes, so you know I find myself attempting to buy every shade (kidding...but not really). Tipsy was purchased during Tarte's 30% off sale, so I lucked out and got this one for a steal. Keep reading after the jump to find out my thoughts and check out the swatch down below!
I love Tarte's packaging for their Amazonian Clay Blushes. The color of the blush is reflected on the outer packaging, making it easy to tell which blush you want when you have more than one in your collection. The blush pan itself is magnetized and easily pops out of this casing so you can, if you prefer, store it in your own palette. I really like the way these blushes are packaged so I tend to keep them in their original compacts.
Tipsy is described as a coral shade, and that's exactly what it is. I was surprised to find that this blush isn't completely matte like some of my favorite Tarte blushes, but instead it contains a bit of subtle shimmer.
The shimmery aspect of this blush, combined with its bright coral glow makes this blush a perfect pick for Spring and Summer. When I bought this, that's what I had in mind. I definitely can't wait to wear this during the warmer months! I can see this blush being a staple of mine then.
Tarte Amazonian Clay blushes retail for $25 each and can be purchased wherever Tarte products are sold (i.e. Sephora and ULTA). Their price point is a bit higher than other blushes, but you get a good amount at 0.2 oz. These blushes are extremely pigmented and last so long on my oily skin so they're a good investment in my opinion. My favorite shade in the range, Exposed, is something I use almost everyday in my daily makeup routine and the design is still perfectly visible. I highly recommend checking out these blushes, and for a gorgeous coral color, Tipsy is perfect.
